Ashika Mehta, founder of Mind Realigned, is a psychotherapist and life coach with over two decades of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. She works with both teenagers and adults, using an integrative, trauma-informed approach that weaves together psychodynamic perspectives, cognitive tools, and nervous system regulation techniques. Ashika holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University, New York, and a Bachelor’s degree from Vassar College
Ashika founded Mind Realigned with a simple but powerful belief: that knowledge and self awareness are the first step toward transformation. Her mission is to make psychological tools and self growth insights accessible to everyone—through learning programs, coaching, workshops, and community conversations. Her work is rooted in the conviction that when people understand themselves more deeply, they can realign with their inherent potential and thrive with greater clarity, resilience, and connection
Her career has spanned both the U.S. and India. In New York, she supported staff at five major hospitals through the Employee Wellness Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and trained at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Back in Mumbai, she served as a consulting therapist at Breach Candy Hospital before establishing her private practice
Beyond the therapy room, Ashika is a corporate trainer and coach who brings deep psychological insight to organizations. She has designed and facilitated workshops for leading companies across law, manufacturing, and pharma, as well as for educational institutions, entrepreneur forums, and non-profits. She has also served as President of Apne Aap Women’s Collective, a non-profit supporting women affected by trafficking, and has spoken on this issue at a TEDx talk.
